Dr. Tapas Patel
Dr. Patel grew up in Chicago. He attended Loyola University Chicago for his undergraduate studies and was conferred his DDS degree at Marquette University. Afterwards, he pursued a general residency program at UNC Chapel Hill, which afforded him the opportunity to serve veterans at the Kernersville VA.
After living in North Carolina for his residency, he fell in love with the weather and its lush greenery. Dr. Patel and his wife moved to Charlotte in the Fall of 2019. They love hanging out in South End, NoDa and Plaza Midwood. They also enjoy traveling to new places, exploring new restaurants and meeting new people!

Patient Care Coordinator
Amber is a New York native who migrated down here for the warmer weather and more sunshine! She loves all things dentistry and has been working in the dental field for many years. She loves educating patients and answering all their questions to help ease their dental anxieties as they work towards achieving optimal dental health! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children and husband and loves to cook, go to amusement parks and travel, especially to Disney!
Michelle
Dental Hygienist
Michelle is our hygienist. She has been part of the team since 2022 and has been a dental hygienist for 22 years. Michelle is originally from Portland, Maine, and has lived in North Carolina since 2007. Michelle is married with 2 girls and a dog. She spends lots of time golfing with her family and boating on the lake.
Nicole
Dental Assistant
Nicole is our newest team member and is excited to be part of the Contour Dentistry family. Born and raised in Charlotte, she completed the Dental Assisting Program at CPCC and brings a strong commitment to patient comfort and care. She is passionate about creating a positive experience for every patient she meets. As a Spanish speaker, Nicole plays an important role in helping Spanish-speaking patients feel understood and supported throughout their visits. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
